Highline

What I'm Wearing: Artizia Silk Cap, Missguided Swing Vest, Zara Wool Coat, Vintage Levi's & Gap Leopard Sneakers

The Highline is one of my absolute favourite spots in the city. A small tranquil route, elevated one story above the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Only New York would use an old historical freight rail line and transform it into the cutest of public parks. Hopping on right by my apartment and wondering all the way down to Chelsea market, its like a breath of fresh air. Artwork, sculptures, greenery and flowers line the track - which are all pretty sparse in the city. A recommended visit for all those visiting New York, grab a coffee and wonder on down for the perfect getaway without actually getting away at all.

Thursday

Winter Coat

What I'm Wearing: Urban Outfitters Panama Hat & Sweater, Zara Coat, Gap Jeans & Topshop Boots.

Say hello to my newest winter wardrobe addition. This double breasted little beaut is totally my new obsession for this oh so chilly season. When it comes down to winter coats I have a million and one difference styles furs, leathers, trenches you name it, but for some bizarre reason I have never had a wool pea type coat - hence why this is such an exciting purchase. Teamed with a vintage hat from Urban Outfitters which by some miraculous reason fits my giant head perfectly. Sorry about the lack of outfits posts recently, be crazy busy sorting out everything for New York. Less than two weeks till the big moving date now. Absolutely buzzing!

Saturday

Portobello

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Headscarf, MissGuided Jacket, Brandy Melville Ingrid Dress & Topshop Boots.

Browsing through Portobello in my "weather can't decide if its summer or winter" outfit, I couldn't help but twirl and swirl around when the sun finally decided to burst through gloomy rain clouds. This little number from Brandy Melville has been sitting in my closet just looking at me for the past couple of weeks, and I'm so glad I finally got to take it out for a spin to show it off in all it's backless glory. Styling a girlie dress with tomboyish accessories is such a favourite of mine. Off to Piccadilly Institute tonight to celebrate my friends birthday, cannot wait to have a good ol'boogie.

Tuesday

Black Jeans

What I'm Wearing:Vintage Hat & Tee, Gap Skimmer Jeans, New Look Neon Necklace, ASOS Gilet & Kurt Geiger Boots.

The search is over! I have finally found the perfect pair of black jeans. For guys, jeans is such a non issue, but for us girls it is literally a miracle when you find the pair that just fit, not too long, not too tight ,the perfect rise and the perfect colour. These jeans are GAP's latest edition to their almighty denim collection. The 'Jean Legging Skimmer' only have 3% elastine in them so they won't grow and grow till you can almost fit two legs in one, the perfect low rise and are actually black. I know that sounds strange but these jeans are really black. I loved my Topshop Leigh Jeans but with every wash they turned a shade lighter until they were pretty much charcoal. With the jeans being new in, GAP have them on a special promotion for only £30 absolute bargain! I need to go back and buy one in every colour. Hallelujah for GAP Jeans!

Monday

Gather Round The Christmas Tree

What I'm Wearing: Cow Vintage Christmas Jumper, H&M Chiffon Shirt, Zara Trousers & Kurt Geiger Vera Boots.

Being in Cornwall for the holidays just makes it feel so Christmassy. Cute little cottages, homemade pub dinners and endless walks along the coast line, with the beautiful sound of the sea splashing against the rocks. Spending Christmas eve in St Ives this year, never thought walking along the beach would feel like Christmas but under the festive glow of lights, it sure does. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas!

Wednesday

Winter Sun

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Sweater, YSL Homme Vintage Shirt, Miss Selfridge Leggings, Kurt Geiger Boots, Vintage Fur Hat, Fiorentini + Baker Bag & Topshop Rings.

Isn't it just such a great feeling when you've been searching and searching for something specific and you finally find it? I have always found it quite hard to find a fur hat that doesn't look like part of my hair. I suppose my hair is rather curly wavy, whatever, but when I put on certain hats, it just looks like I'm having some sort of severely awful hair day. Anyway, I managed to find this gorgeous hat earlier this week in one of the million vintage shops in the city and I have never been happier. The perfect pick-me-up for a super stressful end of term and way too many encroaching deadlines. For me, when I'm looking for a way to de-stress a cheeky purchase always seems to do the trick.

Get Your Christmas Jumper Freak On

It would be an understatement to say it is bitterly cold outside. With about 1000 layers on and looking rather like a yeti I am still freeeeezing - I do not know how the Eskimo's do it! In an attempt to warm up and getting even more into the festive spirit I have compiled a list of my favourite Christmas jumpers available both on an off the high-street.

First and foremost, ask grandma to knit you one - that is if your grandma fits into the stereotype of the cute little knitting old lady full of wise old tales who repeats herself every now and then. However if your grandma does not fit into this category then there is always option 2 - buy your own! Sadly this wont mean that you have a one of a kind unique Christmas jumper hand knitted out of the kindness of your grandmothers's heart, but if she isn't the greatest of knitter's maybe thats a good thing?

I have always looked in vintage stores for similar grandma specials and I managed to pick up this beauty last year (below) from Birmingham's vintage emporium 'Cow' who had rails and rails of all sorts of festive-wear. If you are in the area, be sure to check it out (click here).

Next best thing to vintage store finds is ebay. Cute and 'vintage-esque' sweaters with embarrassingly sweet motifs on the front, they are just too hard to resist. Ebay seller 'VintageUnit' has hit the nail on the head with these festive numbers coming in over 20 different colour and design combinations there is bound to be one to delight you inner Christmas child. And coming in a mere £20 - what a bargain (click here to get yours)!

For your inner Santa, this designer number from Lot78 is on the top of all fashionistia's wish list, not only perfect for the party season but the Ho! Ho! Ho! intarsia design is a winner especially snuggled in front of the fire. £220 from Net-A-Porter (click here).

Now if you're feeling pretty generous this Christmas, splash out on this sparkly number from Meadham Kirchhoff and you'd look as pretty as the angel on the top of your tree. At £945 from Net-A-Porter (click here) I think it's going on my 'wish and never actually be able to ever afford list'.

For all you Scrooge's out there, who are anti all things cheery and bright, this sweater from Zoe Karssen is the must have sweater. £95 from Net-A-Porter, you can share your 'Bah Humbug' feelings with all those that catch a glimpse of cute pop print slogan (click here).

If you like keeping thing simple amongst the glitter and sparkles, this snowflake sequin jumper from Next is perfect and is subtle enough to keep wearing long after the Christmas festivities. £32 from Next (click here).

If waiting under the mistletoe to be kissed is your plan this Christmas, this cute holly jumper will certain fit the bill. £50 from Topshop in a gorgeous angora blend you will be a walking snuggle magnet (click here)

If you're just way too cool to wear any form of fairisle or polar bear motif, then this all over crystal jumper is just the thing. Looking like you fill the 'Christmas' jumper criteria over the festive period, but just rocking some serious jumper bling the rest of the year, this is the perfect jumper to carry you from season to season. £50 from Topshop (click here).

For your inner toff and if you love to steal your boyfriends jumpers then this cream fairsile knit from Aubin & Wills is for you. Being a men's jumper naturally makes it oversized and perfect with some cable knit leggings. Already in the pre-Christmas sale for £119 (click here) it is hard to resist (maybe buy it for him and secretly keep it for yourself!? - he doesn't need to know).

Lastly from my newly discovered favourite online store in the whole wide world, Nasty Gal, this gorgeous oversized knit sweater is on the top of my Christmas list. I never often wear red but 'Hey! It's Christmas' and I can't wait to throw this amazing jumper on, on Christmas day and see what Santa has put under the tree for me! £70.54 from Nasty Gal (click here).

Which are going on your Christmas list this year?

Ripped Jeans

What I'm Wearing: Topshop Sweater, Abercrombie Destroyed Jeans, Vintage Tartan Scarf & High-Top Converse All Stars.

Keeping it casual today in my ripped boyfriend jeans and loose fitting sweater, glammed up with piles of wrist candy. When the weather takes a turn from rather mild to completely freezing its always better to pile on the comfy sweaters for a dash of casual mastery. I've raved about this Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick before, in one of my previous posts (click here) but I still can't get enough of it. The matt texture makes it perfect to cary you through from day to night and its long lasting effect means you don't have to constantly be reapplying it, how could you possibly ask for more?! How do you guys make casual chic?
