Celine Me Alone

What I'm Wearing: SUPERCALAFASHIONISTIC Celine Me Alone Tee, Vintage Levi's, Marni Shoes, Zara Necklace & Kenzo iPhone case.

Isn't the magic hour just perfect. Absolutely worked my socks off yesterday finishing off my photography project (click here to have a peek) and only managed to venture out to take these snaps in the evening. Long were the days that it was pitch black at 4, so happy to have a good full 12 hours of beautiful sunshine even if it is still cold. Sorry for my lack of posts recently, been obscenely busy with a million and one deadlines - 4th year is an absolute killer. I must dash, more work to do. Have a cheeky listen to the Colette playlist (click here) literally the only thing getting me through this work mountain.

Monday

Girl Stole Lookbook

As part of my final project of my Fashion Styling & Photography module, I created a kaleidoscopic style look book featuring all the wonderful clothes by GIRLSTOLE.COM. Over Easter on one of the few sunny days, team girl stole hit the streets of South London to shoot the grunge, 90's, vintage, urban..... lookbook. Here's my cheeky spin on the psychedelic collection. Get yourselves over to GIRLSTOLE.COM to pick up some serious swag of your own.

Saturday

The New Icons

What I'm Wearing: H&M The New Icons Tee & Trousers, Topshop Boots & SUPERCALAFASHIONISTIC Snapback.

My little sister went to France, and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt. No, I'm only joking Rae. I love it!
H&M have recently launched a new collection featuring and inspired by the "new icons", including Daphne Groeneveld, Lindsey Wixson, Liu Wen and Joan Smalls. The new breed of international stunners who are undoubtedly following in the footsteps of Naomi, Kate, Christie,  Linda, Cindy who - not so many years ago - donned the titles of the world's first supermodels. H&M are however having a different approach then just simply showing off who they deem the new supermodels are, but stating the fact that anyone can be an icon.

Whether or not you realise, you all have people who look up to you. Perhaps a younger sister, or a classmate or even a colleague, we are all icons in our own right and with a little thanks to H&M for reminding us all, you have the full right to walk a little taller and have that big grin on your face this weekend, knowing that somewhere, to somebody you are an icon.

PS. If you haven't already done so, make sure you head over to my online store (click here) to get your hands on some SUPERCALAFASHIONISTIC goodness. I've been sending orders all over the world already - just love to think that Supercalafashionistic is represented in Dubai, Canada, Melbourne and New Jersey, so exciting! Thursday

Geo Midi

What I'm Wearing: Topshop Geo Midi Dress & BootsZara Oversized Sweater & Celine Bag

Throwing an oversized sweater over a body con dress is the perfect way to make something that's rather dressy perfect for daytime. I literally love this dress, but it's extreme bodycon nature makes me feel rather reluctant to leave the house without a top to toe spanx contraption - I should lay off the chocolate and just stick to salads HELLO SUMMER BODY!

Had a super exciting day yesterday. Met up with fellow bloggers Lauren (www.thegirlwhostolelondon.com) and Lereese (www.thegirlwhostolevintage.com) who want to stock some of my new styles on their soon to launch online store GirlStole.com. Tuesday

Polyvore

I do apologise for the lack of outfit posts recently, apart from being glued to my sketchbook and popping out for the occasional bite to eat at my favourite Italian, Carluccio, I have been absolutely inundated with uni work. 5 collections to design and a whole photography project to complete, not particularly fun to say the least. I've recently rediscovered Polyvore and have found it to be a rather enjoyable form of procrastination, so I thought I would show you a few sets I designed styling the Chanel Drip Tee, Homies London Sweater & Celine Me Alone Tee - all from my online store (click here). The tee's are so perfect to dress up and down and the super soft fabric makes you want to just live in them all the time. For all my UK customers, make sure to use you're promo code FREEUKSHIP for free UK delivery, before it runs out! Happy shopping y'all!

Sunday

Duck & Waffle

Sitting on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower is London's absolute food sensation, making a whole heap of gorgeous dishes to tantalise your tastebuds. With little Lucy visiting from the North, where better to take her than the amazing Duck & Waffle boasting all sorts of meaty delights and cocktail concoctions. Luckily managing to sneak a booking on the same day, we headed on up in the Charlie & the Chocolate factory-esque glass elevator overlooking the city and were shown to our table through the hustle and bustle of the buzzing bar. Thankfully the duck & waffle is always available, but the menu is constantly updated every month with new and exciting dishes to surprise and entice.

Sadly, despite wanting absolutely everything on the menu we opted for a couple of sharer dishes as recommended by our lovely waitress.

The BBQ spiced pigs ears were presented to us in a paper baggie with Duck & Waffle's very own wax seal. Think bacon rashers meet pork crackling. Positively delicious, we couldn't eat them fast enough.

No hobos allowed. My home brewed root beer and rum cocktail came, disguised in a paper bag. Think New York hobo, drinking on the street with a twist of homemade root beer goodness.

I'm wearing a Topshop camiBoticca.com wishbone necklace and Zara leather trousers. Lets call it hobo chic.

Lucy opted for a far more regal cocktail, accompanied by it's very own cocktail shaker, goblet and truffle.

Literally haven't stopped raving about this little number. Foie Gras all day breakfast, please can I eat it all the time. Like seriously, please.

Thick slice toast, streaky bacon, deep fried black pudding ball, fried quails egg, foie gras and nutella. Yes that's right, nutella. Like maple syrup on bacon and pancakes but oh so much better.

Garlic, rosemary and freshly ground seasalt on warm ciabatta. Yum!

And for the pièce de résistance...

The duck & waffle was truly triumphant and certainly worth naming the restaurant after. Chef Tom (@TomCenci) was certainly on form when whipping up this delightful dish.

I am always partial to a G&T, and couldn't wait to try Duck & Waffle's own concoction with added Yuzu to great a gorgeous citrus frothy top.

Got milk?

Whether it's a birthday, date night, girls night or just craving a sweet and salty delight head on up to the 40th floor of the Heron Tower, as good news, duck & waffle is open and on the menu 24/7. Hallelujah!

Check them out on Facebook, Twitter and online here, and remember call at least a week in advance to get yourselves the perfect spot in the corner of the restaurant overlooking the whole of London in its beautiful twinkly light beauty.
