New York is such a wonderful place full of talented, ambitious and beautiful people from all corners of the World. Nina Koeffler is one of these wonderful people whom I am lucky enough to call my friend.

Designer, founder and owner of Wundertüte, Nina has created a unique brand with graphic motifs inspired by patterns and body art of indigenous people.

The aim: beautify the earth one bag at a time

Neoprene

Had to feature my gorgeous friend Geneva - how darling is her little hair bow?

What I'm Wearing: Topshop Necklace & Boots, & Other Stories Neoprene Skirt, Elkin Bracelets & Vintage Tee.

Totally obsessed with my new little neoprene number. So what if neoprene is used to for wetsuits, to keep you warm when plunging into the freezing depths of the sea... Fashion is what you make of it right? I just adore the bell shape it creates and the bounce of the godets as I peruse around London. So happy to have my little creative goofball with me to be my resident blog photographer and of course she had to feature in this little outfit post too. Looking forward to wearing this little skirt in the winter with a huge oversized jumper and some dainty heels, roll on Fall fashion!

Flat Iron

My gorgeous friend and fellow foodie Geneva and I have taken it upon ourselves to try out some of the yummiest haunts in London - hard life ey? Geneva was desperate to try out this coveted little steak house, Flat Iron, in Soho and of course I was happy to oblige. 

After checking out the minimalistic website (click here) and hearing recommendations from friends, I still only knew very little of Flat Iron prior to arriving;

1. Be prepared to wait.

2. It may just be the best steak in town.

3. Cocktails pass the time beautifully.

Heaven.Strolling up at 7ish, we were present with a rather long wait……., but with our names on the list, and our table scheduled for later that evening we were presented with our buzzer and headed off for some drinks.

The basement bar had a totally chilled atmosphere and offered a minimal cocktail list from which we both had to sample the summer special of Strawberry & Basil Collins.

Buzzer time! We excitedly showed our buzzer to the front of house who took us to our two little spaces on the big ol'shared table on the top floor of the restaurant.No time needed for choosing what to have. 

Option A or B. 

Steak or special.

With a whole load of sides and sauces to complement the big hunk of meat.

After mingling with the rest of the people on our sharer bench we all decided to opt for the Flat Iron 10oz Steak, which gives the establishment its name. 

Lashings of homemade peppercorn sauce and we delved straight in, barely taking a pause for breath - the steak was that melt in the mouth good.

I like my steak pretty much alive so when it came perfectly blue, I was very happy indeed. 

Washed down with some more yummy cocktails we were in and out in no longer than 30 minutes.

A perfect destination for a quick and delicious bite with friends, but not the best place for a date. due to their no bookings policy. 

Already planning the next date night with Geneva, its going to be a good'un - so stay tuned. 

Elkin

Being a rather compulsive, obsessive and addicted shopaholic I am always on the look out for new and exciting brands that offer that something special and add that perfect finish to an outfit. Scrolling though Instagram I stumbled upon these gorgeous skull bracelets and had to know more - those that know me, know that I am rather obsessed with skulls (click here). 

Elkin is the perfect combination of naughty and nice featuring skulls, beetles and geometric shapes all delightfully complemented with delicate chains, coloured panels and twinkling jewels. A perfect balance between the beautiful and the bewitching, boasting a whole collection of 'fiendishly addictive jewellery'. Yes I want it all.

The weekend Elkin hosted a Secret Pop-Up Party to celebrate the launch of their new collection and pretty damn awesome new website (check it out here) in London's Kingly Court. Rocking up fashionably late in the sweltering heat, we were welcomed with smiling faces, flutes of champagne and a whole table of must have piece's from Elkin's new A/W 2013 collection. 

Say hello to the gorgeous skull bracelet which have made Elkin what it is today. Having been featured on the wrists of stylish ladies on the pages of publications including Elle, The Independant, The Guardian, Grazia and Vogue, and originally whipped up on a break between fashion shoots, the collection has grown to feature not only these delightfully addictive skull bracelets, but necklaces, earrings and bracelets galore. 

The 'I'll cast a spell on you' bracelet is hypnotically glamorous and full of seductively subtle little jewels yet perfectly delicate to work well on its own or in a stack (click here). 

The 'frozen ghost' necklace boasts a mini skull and geometric pendant hanging at the perfect length to complete many an outfit.

Roni looked gorgeous in her little Brandy Melville Nora dress.

I was donning the 70's vibes in this little neon number from Topshop and Furla Candy bag. 

Thank you to Eliza and her wonderful team for a great evening and showing off your gorgeous new collection. I havn't taken off my new 'Don't Lose your head' stack since the event and have been showing them off to everyone left right and centre.

Duck & Waffle

Sitting on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower is London's absolute food sensation, making a whole heap of gorgeous dishes to tantalise your tastebuds. With little Lucy visiting from the North, where better to take her than the amazing Duck & Waffle boasting all sorts of meaty delights and cocktail concoctions. Luckily managing to sneak a booking on the same day, we headed on up in the Charlie & the Chocolate factory-esque glass elevator overlooking the city and were shown to our table through the hustle and bustle of the buzzing bar. Thankfully the duck & waffle is always available, but the menu is constantly updated every month with new and exciting dishes to surprise and entice.

Sadly, despite wanting absolutely everything on the menu we opted for a couple of sharer dishes as recommended by our lovely waitress. 

The BBQ spiced pigs ears were presented to us in a paper baggie with Duck & Waffle's very own wax seal. Think bacon rashers meet pork crackling. Positively delicious, we couldn't eat them fast enough.

No hobos allowed. My home brewed root beer and rum cocktail came, disguised in a paper bag. Think New York hobo, drinking on the street with a twist of homemade root beer goodness.

I'm wearing a Topshop cami, Boticca.com wishbone necklace and Zara leather trousers. Lets call it hobo chic.

Lucy opted for a far more regal cocktail, accompanied by it's very own cocktail shaker, goblet and truffle.

Literally haven't stopped raving about this little number. Foie Gras all day breakfast, please can I eat it all the time. Like seriously, please.

Thick slice toast, streaky bacon, deep fried black pudding ball, fried quails egg, foie gras and nutella. Yes that's right, nutella. Like maple syrup on bacon and pancakes but oh so much better. 

 Garlic, rosemary and freshly ground seasalt on warm ciabatta. Yum!

And for the pièce de résistance...

The duck & waffle was truly triumphant and certainly worth naming the restaurant after. Chef Tom (@TomCenci) was certainly on form when whipping up this delightful dish.

I am always partial to a G&T, and couldn't wait to try Duck & Waffle's own concoction with added Yuzu to great a gorgeous citrus frothy top.
