90's Varsity

What I'm Wearing: Gap Plaid Shirt, Customised Vintage Varsity Jacket, +Topshop Embellished Mom Jeans, American Apparel Leotard.

Flash back to the 90's much? Jazzy mom jeans, varsity jackets and plaid shirts I feel as though I'm dressing as my former 10yr old self, just with a tad more sass. I've been umming and ahhing about these jeans since I bought them from the Topshop Flagship on Oxford Circus. Are they wearable enough? Are they flattering enough? But chucking them on with some super casual pieces I just fell in love. Who can resist a bit of sparkle, after all my friends do describe me as somewhat of a magpie. Anything with sequins glitter or studs and I'm drawn straight to it with an almost compelled feeling to purchase said item. Anyway enough of my ridiculous shopping habits, I'm off to try out a new restaurant tonight with my friend Geneva. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @georgiabenj to check out some of the up-to-date pics and stay tuned for the review soon to be on the blog.

Sunday

Skort

What I'm Wearing: Gap Boyfriend Shirt, Zara Asymmetric Skort, Elkin Bracelets & Michael Kors Bag.

Sunday's are my favourite day of the week (click here). The one day of the week to catch up with friends, put on your comfiest clothes, snuggle into a deck chair in the garden and delve into that book you been meaning to start all week. This little geddup is my perfect Sunday attire. A boyfriend shirt from yesteryear and this skirt/shorts number from Zara which has been their best seller for the past few months. Who would have thought if you you throw two mismatch flaps over the top of shorts it would fly off the shelves like hotcakes? Oh those designers at Inditex have seriously got it going on.

Monday

Swing Vest

What I'm Wearing: MissGuided Swing Vest, Gap Jeans & New Balance 574's.

After a long day at work, there is no better feeling then a stroll over rolling hills and taking in nothing but gorgeous views and fresh air. Naturally I was jumping and leaping around with no cares in the world and acting like a total goofball, all in favour of showing off the movement of my snazzy number from MissGuided. This little swing vest is officially my new favourite top. Slightly narrowed racer back at the top with a flowing extreme swing fit which is oh so comfortable and perfect for any occasion. Cannot wait to dress it up with a pair of sequin shorts and some strappy sandals. I'm off to buy it in ever colour and I advise y'all to do the same (click here). One day down and already looking forward to the weekend.

Saturday

Fountain

What I'm Wearing: Whistles Claudine Sweater, Gap Splatter Jeans, New Balance Custom 574's.

Yesterday, my gorgeous friend Roni & I trotted off to Somerset House to take a cheeky look at the Treasure Exhibition (got tonnes of photos and a ridiculously long list of new jewellery designers that you NEED to know about - post coming soon). Stepping off the the tube and into this glorious sunshine was certainly not expected - hence my rather winter-esque attire. But with the help of an ice coffee and a splash in the fountains, I managed to cool off. Running through the fountains at Somerset House make me feel like such a kid. It is safe to say that I do rather suffer from Peter Pan syndrome and never ever want to grow up, but the rush of not knowing when the fountains are going to go off is just so exhilarating. London in the sun is just amazing!

I'm off to Battersea Boot tomorrow after a gigantic wardrobe clear out. Hundreds of clothes, shoes and accessories will be available at absolute bargain prices, if you're around you should certainly stop by!

Wednesday

Urban Jungle

What I'm Wearing: Topshop Leaf Print Shorts & Top, Tahlia's Closet Necklace & Gap Designer Edition Wedges.

Following on from last years pyjama suit trend, Topshop has created their very own summery two piece complete with all over leaf print. Finally tracking this little ensemble down in about the 5th store I had to go into, I couldn't wait to show it off in the beautiful summer sunshine. Channelling Mowgli from the Jungle Book, I headed to my second day of GFW at London's Earls Court to take the recruiters by storm.

Satchel

Say hello to my new Cambridge Satchel Company baby! As most of you know it was my birthday yesterday and this little neon number with my initials on was the icing on the cake. Had an absolute glorious day full of obscene amounts of food was absolutely spoilt rotten with amazing presents from my friends and family. And to top it all off, I got my dissertation bound and handed in, I've been bouncing around the apartment ever since.

PS. I have to thank my gorgeous twin for getting me this knit from her favourite hidden online gem, Never Fully Dressed. Lots of one size fits all pieces and just the most unique beautiful designs out there. I'll do a full post on them soon, got a couple new cheeky purchases in the pipeline. Thank you so much J xx

Tuesday

Neon

What I'm Wearing: H&M Knitted Tee & Bag, Gap Jeans, Topshop Socks, Zara Platforms & Nasty Gal Cuffs.

Neon has always been a part of my life, from when I was 13 and used to walk around looking like a neon rainbow (my mother used to call it my 'colourful' phase). Looking back, I did rather look like a parrot, i think perhaps wearing 7 different colour items might have been a bit too far. Now I prefer to stick to one or two colours always mixed with a neutral. This knitted tee is so comfortable and I cannot wait to wear it with some daisy dukes and sneakers when summer finally arrives. For all of you fellow neon lovers, watch out because its back with a vengeance, and even better, it's gone all iridescent.

Sunday

Black Cap

What I'm Wearing: Karl Tank, Gap Jeans, Nasty Gal Jacket, Nike High Top Dunks iD's & NY Cap from local store in New York.

Despite being on campus far more often than I actually like, its sunny afternoons like this that just make everything look just so beautiful. The warm glow of the sun, and sitting outside to have lunch can only mean one thing, summer is coming. Boy oh boy can I not wait to not have to wear at least 4 layers and just leave the house in nothing by shots and a tee. Heaven. Despite being back in the library this Sunday afternoon I have had a rather wonderful weekend, hope all of you guys have too.

PS. My lovely friend Kassie bought me back this cap from New York, and whenever I have it on, I get a constant reminder of how much I need to get back to the wonderful city. Gotta dream big.
