Tweed Sweater

What I'm Wearing: Zara Tweed Sweater, MissGuided Skater Skirt & Office Flatforms.

Is it correct that black, well, is the new black? You can never go wrong with it. It flatters like everyone and matches with everything. Black is so totally a winner. After stealing this  tweed-esque sweater from my sister thanks Jesse, I couldn't wait to team it with some monochrome accessories for a dinner with the girlies. Found these absolute bargain flatforms in the Office  sale. I am not one for sale shopping in the slightest, elbowing women out the way in order to get your hands on whats about to become last seasons stock - no thank you, I'll pass on that. But popping into my local Office branch to pick up a pair of classic Van's for my Dad I know what a style icon, I spotted these for a mere £8 - ridiculous I know. Heading off to one of my absolute favourite restaurants in London & NYC tonight, Balthazar - be sure to follow me on instagram @georgiabenj to check out some of the delicious dishes.

Spring

Finally, it is safe to say that Spring has hit London better late than never that's for sure. Daffodils and crocus' blooming in all their springtime glory, and birds singing in the trees, smiles all round. Perfect morning spent in Bloom having a gorgeous sweetcorn fritter/bacon combo for brunch and onto Fulham Palace for a walk through the grounds. Stepping into the walled garden felt as though we were transformed into a secret garden with twisting hydrangeas lining the grid style paths. Couldn't wait to whip out my new Topshop boots which I finally manage to track down after being sold out absolutely everywhere.

Also you'll all be happy to hear my online store is officially up and running and have been sending orders off to Canada, America, Portugal and England already. Exciting stuff. Going for Gold

With the London 2012 Olympics behind us now, I feel a rather bit lost. As if there is this big void with nothing quite on par to fill it. All the camaraderie and the patriotism that us Brits showed over the summer has been truly admirable and made me feel so proud to be British. And with us winning all those medals and especially the 29 Gold's, I decided I wanted a medal of my own. However the sad fact of that is that I'm no sporting champ. No leggy high jumper nor super strong weightlifter, so I decided to purchase my own version of a gold medal. My new Kurt Geiger 'London Calling' Sneakers are my own little glimmer of gold. I am absolutely in love with them and despite not having them hang round my neck, my feet are shining like little champions.

Took this photo of the Olympic Rings whilst walking over Waterloo Bridge. London 2012 you were an amazing games, and a huge well done to all of our athletes that did so incredibly well.

You really did make your country proud!
