Guys, let me just start by apologising for disappearing off the face of the earth for the last few weeks. After finishing my degree, I have just been spending all my time in shops, cafes, bars, restaurants... my new found freedom has rather taken over. Having no work and no responsibilities whilst I'm still up in Leeds is just amazing! Spending the whole day prepping for the summer ball today. A fun-fair filled night awaits to celebrate the past amazing 4 years at University, then heading straight back to London for Graduate Fashion Week. Oh what a schedule. Life's quite great sometimes, isn't it?

Yes, I know it is the end of March and almost Easter but for some reason, winter is sticking around. Heaven forbid I leave the house without several layers topped off with some sort of fur, but of course I couldn't wait to show you all one of the tee's from my collection. Had lots of complements on my top today, with some people being rather concerned for my health due to all my "issues". Low and behold, this is certainly a keeper and can't wait to show my girls tonight at dinner. Heading out to the gorgeous little burger joint called Chuck's in North London. Vogue - Strike A Pose

What I'm Wearing: Karl Alley Vogue Hat from Nasty Gal, ASOS Mongolian Fun Gillet, American Apparel Leotard, Miss Selfridge Jeans & Kurt Geiger 'London Calling' Sneakers.

I literally jumped for joy when the rather large Nasty Gal box came through my door earlier this week containing my gorgeous new 'Vogue' hat & I could not wait to take it out for a spin. Dropping off my brother back at Oxford today, I took advantage of the perfect opportunity to stand out amongst the tweed and chino clad crowd. A couple of complements and odd glances later, I was very glad of my choice of head attire. “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect”. Mark Twain has hit the nail on the head with this quote. Sartorially speaking, what is the point of fitting in? It really is great to stand out from the crowd from time to time, don't you agree?

PS. Sorry about being off the blogging radar for a while, had the most obsecene amount of work to complete for my hand in earlier this week. But with very little sleep and way too many expresso's it was all handed in. Now I've got 2 weeks of well deserved R&R before heading back up north to knuckle down again. Let the shopping commence!

Leopard Love

This layered number from Zara has been such a friend to me for the last month, especially with the weather being so all over the place. Finally managed to unpack after the Christmas break and discovered these leopard beauties in the back of my closet, only worn them twice since I've bought them and they finally got a night out on the town last week about time. Off to the cottage in Cornwall tomorrow for Christmas, better get to packing.

I picked up this top at Vogue's Fashion Night Out (click here) earlier this year and have yet had the opportunity to wear it. Wearing simple items with pretty accessories is always such a style winner for me and this bejewelled collar from Monki fits that brief perfectly. A dash of glitz and glam without being too OTT. WOO HOO! The weekend is finally here! Cannot wait to put on my dancing shoes and party the night away! What are you all up to this weekend?

Fashion's Night Out

Vogue's Fashion's Night Out was one to remember last night, with the whole of London's W1 being painted red by flocks of fashionista's.

We spent the evening sipping on endless streams of free champagne, filling our arms with shopping bags full of goodies, whilst rubbing shoulders with top designers, including Mary Katrantzou and Roksanda Ilincic. 

Now let me point out that FNO is certainly not for the faint hearted. Hoards of frightfully fashionable people fighting their way to the front of the crowds in order to get this exclusive product or that amazing freebee.
Vogue really knows how to throw a street party, and they did not hold back one bit. Organised dances outside Burberry, puppeteers in Burlington Arcade - even the animals came out two by two to join in and be a part of the momentous occasion.

Kurt Geiger was where my party was at.

It was all 'Pretty in Punk' on the South Moulton Street store, with the girls from WAH offering punk manicures and even an in-store Punk Princess customising some of the Kurt Geiger products to order.

I decided to treat myself to a couple of bits from their 'punked-up' selection as well as a few pairs of new shoes. 

Well, who can resist 25% off on all of their brand new A/W collection. 

A huge success of a night on all parts, and already looking forward to next years event.
